Accessibility

Silverworks Island welcomes all guests with access needs to our events. We recognise the barriers that guests with access needs face when attending live events and refer to Attitude Is Everything and their Live Events Access Charter in planning our planning.

Accessible Facilities

We have accessible facilities onsite and offer complimentary Personal Assistant (PA) tickets. These are detailed in the dropdown below. To get your free PA ticket, or to book onto any of our facilities, please follow these steps:

1) Purchase a ticket for yourself, or guest with access needs

2) Complete our Access Requests Form

3) Send a supporting document to our Access Manager on access@silverworksisland.com

We accept:

  • Front page of DLA / PIP letter
  • Front page of Attendance Allowance letter
  • Evidence that registered severely sight impaired (blind)
  • Recognised Assistance Dog ID card
  • Credability’s Access Card showing you require a +1/+2 to accompany you.

4) Wait for approval of your request.

We will try to process your request within 5 working days.

  • Personal Assistant Ticket

    PA tickets are free and we adopt Attitude Is Everything policy for proof of eligibility.

  • Transport

    Due to the location of our event, we are unable to offer parking to any of our guests.

    If you are a wheelchair or mobility aid using customer please do not enter through the advertised entrance at Custom House. There is a temporary bridge which is unsuitable for these requirements. Please travel to the Royal Albert DLR where there is step-free access. It is around a 10 minute walk from the Accessible Entrance.

    The taxi drop-off point is Dockside Car Park, Dockside Road, London E16 2QT.
  • Event Site

    At this stage we know that the event will be fully wheelchair accessible. However, as we are still in the planning stages of our site, we will update our guests with distances once they have been confirmed.
  • Accessible Viewing Platform

    Viewing Platforms will be available at the event and must be booked in advance of the event using our Access Requests form.

    Viewing Platforms will be available for the Main Stage and Stage 2. They are designed for wheelchair users and for guests who standing is not suitable. If you require power to charge your chair or scooter, you will be able to do so on the platform.
  • Accessible Toilets

    There will be accessible toilets onsite. To ensure that these are used only by access please indicate in the Access Request Form please indicate if you require the facility.
  • Lowered Bars

    Our bars will have lowered counters, or a policy to greet customers where there is no lowered counter.
  • Hidden Disabilities

    We understand that not all access needs are visible and recognise the sunflower lanyard scheme. If you have any questions or concerns, please speak to our Access Manager Lara on access@silverworksisland.com.
