20,000 BASS HEADS UNITED AT BROADWICK’S WATERSIDE SPACE IN THE HEART OF EAST LONDON

On the 9th July 2023, Silverworks Island welcomed 20,000 ravers for an exclusive day-into-night bass driven session by the waterside. Uniting not only fans – but a multitude of artists for a day that marked Worried About Henry’s biggest UK event to date. Taking place in Broadwick Live’s new waterside space Silverworks Island, the infamous DnB party collective presented a bone-rattling spectacle across a multitude of bass selectors including Chase & Status, Hybrid Minds, Bou, special guest Hedex, Harriet Jaxxon and more for a day-into-night session.

Spread across 3 stages, Silverworks Island hosted an array of bass-driven icons to soundtrack the day.

Stage One: hosted by Worried About Henry saw sets from legends such as Wilkinson, who took fans on a journey through euphoric beats and other action-packed sonics. Another special moment included special guest HEDEX who’s anticipated set had everyone jumping. Taking centre stage, bass fanatics gathered as headliners and world class Bass tastemakers Chase and Status deployed their album concept show ‘What Came Before’; an exploration into Bass unrestricted by genre or limits.

Stage 2 was hosted by the notorious CruCast, hosted a ferocious B2B performed by Darkzy and Zero before Kings of the Rollers set sail for a dive into dark rollers and electrifying drums. Special guest Macky Gee also revered himself in a high speed delivery of bassline and hectic sonics.

Stage 3 hosted by 21 Years of Breakin’ Science saw biblical B2B’s from legends such as SERUM B2B MOZEY, TNA SHOWCASE (NU ELEMENTZ X T>I X AZZA X GRIMA), BLADERUNNER B2B, BENNY L. Multiple legends across the stage combined to celebrate exactly what 21 years of Breakin’ Science was all about.

“Our debut London Festival went off in spectacular fashion. Thank you to all artists, people behind the scenes and the 20,000 of you who kept the energy at fever pitch from start to finish. We couldn’t have hoped for a better day and send love to everyone involved.” – Rob Yilmaz, Head of Marketing and talent booker, Locked n Loaded Events
